have you seen our remote?

jase was at my sister britt's house 2 saturday's ago and was playing and even helped them clean up the living room. well i went and picked him up and we left for the night my sister and her cute family watched a movie together and then turned off their t.v. and went to bed.

two days later i got a call from my sister asking if i had seen her remote because they couldn't find it anywhere and had looked everywhere. and when i say everywhere i mean it. they tore apart their house from top to bottom looking with no luck. unfortunately i didn't notice where it was sitting when i had been there so i asked jase if he could tell me where it was but he just looked at me like i was crazy so i said jokingly to her "maybe i should bring jase back over and he can show us where its at."

well i went on with my week and didn't think twice about her and her lost remote, most people can still watch t.v but not them once it had been turned off they couldn't turn it back on because the button on the t.v. is broken and only comes on if you have the remote.

we ended up back over to her house the next friday (so almost a week later) and brey and i were sitting in here kitchen talking while i was crocheting and we were waiting for pizza to arrive and we started talking about the lost remote and jase walked in the room and at that moment without giving it much thought i asked him if he knew where his aunties remote was.

well not even 5 seconds later he comes in and says "here its right here." i just laughed because i was thinking well that couldn't be the one they have been looking for he found it way to fast. he didn't even have time to leave the room before he was back. so i just keep doing what i was doing and said to brey well that's dumb why don't they just use that remote to turn on the t.v.! brey looked up and was like wait well where did he get that remote, that is the remote they have to use? so she hurried and called braun and asked him if he thought is was the right remote and he said no it can't be we've all looked everywhere for it i'm sure its just the one from upstairs and it won't turn on the t.v.

brey then called britt and said the same thing and finally i'm like well just go try and turn the t.v. on and see it it works! well she did and wa la! what do you know the t.v popped on!!

we are all pretty sure that when jase had been there the week before he put the remote where only he knew where it was. when asked he never did give us a straight answer to where it was, all we know it that is wasn't to far away from where it should have been. so if you loose your remote and my son has been there i will be sure to bring him back very quickly to find it.
