halloween 2009

we had such a fun filled halloween. we had fun going and picking pumpkins and decorating in the weeks leading up to halloween. two days before halloween we started our festivites with our 2nd annual party that turned out so great! we served yummy soup and rolls, played lots of games decorated cookies and let the kids run around and dance. the game that was the biggest hit i think was the bucket filled with popcorn where we let the kids dig through blindfolded and find toys, the monster parts was also really fun where you reached your hand in a bag and guessed what body part it could be (really it was just food.) and of course the decorate your own bag was super fun but created quit the mess.

on halloween jase and i went to our ward's trunk or treat and harvest festival. jase loved every min of it. daddy met us at the church where we played a few games and then headed to my sisters in laws for more dinner and house to house trick or treating. jase had soo much fun running from house to house saying trick or treat and couldn't keep up with his older cousins fast enough.

as usual my sisters and i decided to dress the kids up in a theme and this year we did zoo animals. it was really fun and the outfits were great for keeping the kids warm even though it was really nice outside.
this pic is terrible but thats what you get when you have 6 kids who just want to eat their candy.
