maine day 3

we were hoping to have a good day while we were in Maine so that we could go to higgins beach and play. well it worked out great that on day 3 we were able to spend the whole day with no rain. i was so excited to take jase to the ocean and have him play and to see is reaction to the ocean. he was so scared and didn't know at all what to think. it not like he hasn't been to a beach before. bear lake is a tradition at our house so i knew he would love the sand and thought he would like the water. i was wrong!
oh he was just so mad!
im sure it was just because it was so cold.
thank goodness for daddy!
i was right playin in the sand was a big hit.

grandma helped and enjoyed playin too. this is a rare moment. jase actually looking at the camera when i am taking a picture.
he was so sandy that everything he put into his mouth got all sandy too, so aunt carly was nice enough to feed him like a little birdy. he went from playin in the sand to playin the ocean and back and forth all day long.

oh look i was there.buldin cool things in the sand with uncle kaleb.

ahhh this is one of my favorite pictures!! isn't he just so handsome!! and the background is just so gorgeous

and then finally he decided it wasn't that bad and to be brave and play in the ocean all by himself ...
and splash.....
and splash some more.....

and throw sand.
i can't think of a better way to relax then spend a day at the beach!
so tired after such a fun day the the beach.

oh and don't mind the finger in the nose! he wasn't picking it just playing with his nose because he was so tired.
